Poster Girl: The Artist Behind the Flyers
The Face magazine on the young artist who drew flyers for her friends’ bands, including the Libertines.

From the Tin archive. Between 2003 and 2006 this domain carried the website of the Tap ’n’ Tin, a three-floor music pub on Railway Street in Chatham. This page keeps one of its items as a historical record. The magazine that publishes the site today is independent and has no connection with the venue, its owners or promoters; contact details have been removed, and pictures lost from the old site have been replaced with credited photographs.

A short piece from The Face about a young artist who made flyers for her friends’ bands; when those friends included Pete and Carl from the Libertines, the scribblings became rather high-profile. She drew many of the posters for nights at the pub.
The magazine page itself was kept as a scan and has not survived.
